Who Am I?

During many years, i've been curious about origin of humans being, and how can we know from where we are really?
I was born and raised in Algeria, so basically i consider my self as an Algerian , regarding the heritage given by my fahters and mothers through the time, but this definition never seemed to me accurate for me!! I always felt something is missing, so i tried to read about the origins of Algerians, and i found out that so many civilizations has been around here.
During the antiquity , Algeria was know as the kingdom of Numidia, Romans , Greeks and Carthagians were occupying or enjoying the good relationship with this region.
since then many civilization entered the kingdom and left some of their traditions , culture and history there, until the arrival of the Ottomans, a new era started , the kingdom has been integrated in the big ottoman nation.
But when i start considering all these civilization, i don't really feel as an ottoman person, or a roman!!
The last to collonise Algeria , was France during 132 years, and yes i can see in my daily life that many customs or behavior belongs more to europeans than africains.
But here i'm , i don't feel european at all, i spent many year thinking and looking for an answer. Reading historical books showed me what i'm not but still wondering what i'm or who i'm exactly.
The answer came up to me when i expected it the less, on my first trip to African countries i felt free and my self, yeah what most of people forget is that Algeria is in Africa even if it's the North.
How many people will tell you i'm going to Africa, if they are heading to Senegal or Mali even if they don't realize that they are already in africa.
Africa is the land of freedom and passion, I belong and respect it, where ever i go in Africa i just feel curious to know about it because i know i'm gonna learn about my self.
so finally i can say that i'm African and this land is full of history, love and hope, i'm muslim because it's my daily guidance and i'm Algerian because i'm born and i received this heritage from my fathers,
